Carly Cantlon


Carly Cantlon is a Designer based in London. Originally from Toronto, she graduated with a design degree from OCAD U and has since worked for studios and freelance clients. 

She combines her experience in design and her fine art practice with a natural curiosity to solve problems, tell a story, and create design solutions. 

Observation and connection inform her design and personal life, mainly found through her time spent learning from nature and others. She’s an avid runner and voracious reader. Her favourite authors are James Salter and John Fosse, and she’s looking forward to running her sixth marathon this year.

A campaign and identity for an “adopt an elder” social network designed to connect teens and seniors.

The playful identity was influenced by nostalgia and inclusivity, and encapsulates the brand’s mission to connect both generations, bringing them a reason to come together.

PRAXIS redefines what mental health and self care is, inviting hard working professionals who “don’t have the time” to focus on meditation.

The brand identity was inspired by a unity of technology and spirit, reflecting the whimsy and awe that can emerge from complex forms and systems. Rooted in duality, the branding is centered around the rationality and efficiency of computing, while simultaneously rejecting the homogeneity of functional spaces.

A long-form critique on space & the social environment reflecting on the ways Soho House has capitalized on the tradition of private members clubs to offer a new way of networking.
